What a joy it was to sell this near-perfect home in the historic section of Forest Hill, Newark.

I am so grateful to Jeremy Johnson for giving me my first real estate listing in historic Forest Hill, Newark. For me it provided a feeling of coming home since I went to high school not far from here (Newark Academy) and, for many years, played ball on the fields of Branchbrook Park. And, from a business point of view, it gave me a chance to promote a city I had long believed in, and where I had run a real estate development business prior to doing full-time brokerage. Looking back, it was a belief much justified as anyone who drives around Forest Hill or downtown Newark will certainly attest.

Here is what Jeremy has to say about my representation as well as our continuing love affair with Newark.

I’m so glad we worked with Brian McCabe in selling our home.  He brought a true understanding of our unique neighborhood of Forest Hill in Newark and the kinds of buyers who would be attracted to it.  Furthermore, he was honest and truthful, sharing with us realistic expectations about the whole process.  He is extremely personable, professional, and a champion of the city.   While our home was in great shape, his marketing techniques gave it an incredible “wow” factor.  From the open houses to the photography and videography, it was first class all the way.  Brian is no longer just a real estate expert, he has become a good colleague and friend—highly recommended!
